Yuma Art Center invites bands to perform at Yuma Rocks 2026

The Yuma Art Center is inviting bands to apply for an opportunity to perform at Yuma Rocks 2026, a live music event taking place on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 7 p.m. at the Historic Yuma Theatre (254 S. Main Street).

Bands of all genres are encouraged to apply, including rock, indie, punk, funk, original music, cover bands, and more.

To be eligible, all band members must be 18 or older, and each band must have between three and eight members. At least one member must play a musical instrument, and only one submission will be accepted per band.

Applications must be submitted by Friday, July 17, 2026. Each submission must include a completed entry form, a video or audio sample of no more than 10 minutes, and a high-resolution photo of the band or band logo.

Five bands will be selected to perform live at Yuma Rocks 2026. Selected bands will be announced Friday, July 24 and will take part in a photoshoot on Friday, August 7. Additional details will be provided to selected bands.

"Yuma Rocks is a great opportunity to bring bands together and showcase live music at the Historic Yuma Theatre," said Izai Juarez, Events Operations Leader. "We're looking for bands that can bring energy to the stage and help make this a memorable night for music fans."
