Secretary-General of ASEAN receives President of ERIA at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat

Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today received a visit from the President of the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), Professor Tetsuya Watanabe, at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat, in Jakarta. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on ERIA's flagship research agenda for the year, including ERIA's support for the development of Priority Economic Deliverables under the Philippines' ASEAN Chairship. During the meeting, Dr. Kao expressed his appreciation for ERIA's continued and constructive support to ASEAN's economic integration agenda and reaffirmed ASEAN's commitment to further strengthening cooperation with ERIA in advancing the implementation of the ASEAN Community Vision 2045 and its accompanying Strategic Plans.
