Aggravated Battery with a Firearm
(PEORIA, IL) On Friday, October 3, 2025, at approximately 6:05 a.m., Peoria Police officers were dispatched to a local hospital regarding a male who had been dropped off by private vehicle with gunshot wounds.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with a 34-year-old male who had sustained two gunshot wounds to his leg. His injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
At this time, investigators are working to determine the exact location of the shooting. Officers conducted a search in the area of a related ShotSpotter alert; however, no suspect was located.
