(October 22, 2025) The City of Frisco is giving residents a free, $50 gift card to use in the historic downtown Rail District.
Beginning at 10 a.m. on October 22, gift cards will be available on a 'first come, first served' basis, one card per resident. Interested residents should head to Frisco City Hall, which is inside the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd. Pick up gift cards from the first floor information desk, which is on the east side of the building. The information desk is open Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
The single-use gift card can only be used at participating businesses . Present your gift card when you check out at any participating Frisco Rail District business (shown at the link above). Gift cards must be used by January 31, 2026.
The City of Frisco's gift card program is designed to help Rail District businesses during Main Street construction. The cards are limited to 1,500 during this second distribution phase. No 'change' will be given to anyone using a gift card for a purchase less than $50.
"We hope residents will use this opportunity to try a new restaurant or shop the Frisco Rail District," said Ben Brezina, Assistant City Manager. "There are more than 130 businesses in our Rail District, which are open and ready to serve you or help you get business done."
Gift cards cannot be used for tobacco, vape, or smoke products. City of Frisco employees are not eligible for this program.
