(September 3) NTCA filed reply comments with the FCC urging the commission to move forward with NTCA's proposal to modernize Universal Service Fund High-Cost funding to ensure that small and rural providers can continue to deliver sustainable, high-quality connectivity to their communities. NTCA highlighted the strong record support for the High-Cost Program. It emphasized the evolving nature of universal service and urged the commission to move quickly to meet its statutory obligation to ensure rural America has access to services that are reasonably comparable in price and quality to those in urban areas.
