Scott Greer appointed as Bank's President and Chief Operations Officer.

The Citizens Bank Board of Directors, Mr. Joe LaPorte III (Chairman), and Mr. Kevin Jessee (CEO), are pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. Scott Greer to President and Chief Operations Officer of Citizens Bank.

Scott joined Citizens Bank in 1994 and has been a key contributor to our success. He served previously as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer. His commitment to excellence in financial leadership, strategic management, and service to our customers and the community will continue to benefit the bank in the future.

Scott is a 2002 alumnus of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado and a 1992 graduate of the Tennessee School of Banking at Vanderbilt. In 1985, he graduated magna cum laude from East Tennessee State University obtaining his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree.

Scott is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA). He currently serves on the TSCPA Council, is a past chair of the TSCPA Financial Institutions Committee and has served on committees of the Tennessee Bankers Association (TBA).

Scott serves on the board of the Northeast State Community College Foundation and is a member of the Johnson City Kiwanis Club where he is a past-president, Kiwanian of the Year, and a George Hixson Fellow. He has served on the boards of various community organizations and is a member of Grace Fellowship Church, Johnson City.

Scott enjoys hiking, and camping, as well as U.T. and ETSU sports. He has been married to his wife, RoseMary, for 39 years and together they have two children and two grandchildren.
