2025 Christmas Day and New Year's Day Observance

Advance Guidelines

In observance of Christmas Day and New Year's Day, FHLBank Topeka will be closed Thursday, Dec. 25, and Thursday, Jan. 1. Advances will be limited to 90 days or less after noon Wednesday, Dec. 24, and Wednesday, Dec. 31. The Lending Desk is recommending notification of all term prepayment requests by 10 a.m. on the days when advances are limited.

MPF Guidelines

In observance of Christmas Day and New Year's Day, the MPF Program will not accept Delivery Commitments or Fundings on Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025, and Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026. Additionally, due to the SIFMA Bond Market's scheduled early closing on the business day prior to the observance of Christmas Day and New Year's Day, Delivery Commitments and Loan Fundings will not be accepted by the MPF Program after 1 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025, and Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025.

Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025, will be a typical early closure for the MPF Program:

• The MPF Service Center will remain open until 3 p.m. CT to take calls and answer questions.
• Delivery Commitments and Fundings will not be accepted after 1 p.m. CT.

Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025, will be a typical holiday closure for the MPF Program:

• Delivery Commitments and Fundings will not be accepted.

Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025, will be a typical early closure for the MPF Program:

• The MPF Service Center will remain open until 3 p.m. CT to take calls and answer questions.
• Delivery Commitments and Fundings will not be accepted after 1 p.m. CT.

Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026, will be a typical holiday closure for the MPF Program:

• Delivery Commitments and Fundings will not be accepted.
