DGA Chair Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear released the following statement on Gov. Maura Healey becoming the Democratic nominee for governor in Massachusetts:

"Congratulations to my friend Gov. Maura Healey on officially becoming the Democratic nominee for governor in Massachusetts. From taking on utility companies to capping health care deductibles and co-pays to building more homes, Gov. Healey works every day to make the Bay State more affordable. She's done all this while standing up against the Trump administration's efforts to increase costs, cut health care and jobs, and make communities less safe. The DGA is proud to support Gov. Healey's reelection and looks forward to her victory this November."
