Prior Approval for Domestic Subawards - Effective June 1
NIH now requires prior approval before adding a new domestic subaward post-award to any NIH grant or cooperative agreement, if the subaward was not included in the original peer-reviewed application. This ensures NIH maintains visibility into all subaward activity across its funded projects.
How to submit: Use the "Other Request" type in the eRA Commons Prior Approval Module.
