Access to Consortium Library during construction

As a reminder, the North Entry of the UAA/APU Consortium Library, along with part of the northern parking area are closed until September 2026 to support construction of the Alaska Leaders Archive and updated north entrance. The Library remains open and operational. Patrons should use the South Entry/Main Entrance to access the building. The external Book Drop has been relocated near the SSB entrance.

Changes to the current Library configuration include relocation of the Print Journal collection. Additional shelving was installed to accommodate the collection in other parts of the library. While the location is less convenient, the materials remain onsite and accessible, rather than moving them offsite. In addition, microfilm and microfiche cabinets are now located on the first floor, and music CDs on the second floor near the music scores.

Please ask for help, if assistance is needed to locate items, at the Information and Research Help Desk. Additionally, articles from print journals can be scanned and provided via document delivery through individual Interlibrary Loan Accounts.
