UPDATE: Pavement repairs to impact I-44 off-ramps in Phelps County

Ramps at Route J (Exit 169) to narrow the week of Oct. 12

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) now plans to leave the ramps open during pavement repair work at Exit 169 on Interstate 44. Local MoDOT crews plan to pave the eastbound and westbound off-ramps at Route J, just east of St. Robert, next week.

Work is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 14, and Wednesday, Oct. 15 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. During those hours, the ramps will narrow with an 11-foot width restriction.

Motorists can expect delays and wider loads will need to use alternative routes.

All work is weather-permitting and subject to change.

MoDOT asks all motorists to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, obeying all traffic signs, and slowing down and moving over in work zones.
