Mercyhealth to offer free balance screening and fall prevention assessments
Mercyhealth will offer free balance screening and fall prevention assessments, Tuesday, June 23, 1 to 3 pm, Mercyhealth Hospital and Medical Center-Walworth, N2950 State Rd. 67, Lake Geneva.
The screenings are a proactive step toward improving balance and reducing risk of falls. During the event, participants will receive:
- A 15-minute balance screening by a licensed physical therapist
- Personalized education and tips to help improve balance and prevent falls
- Guidance on whether a formal physical therapy evaluation may be beneficial based on screening results
