Greenberg Traurig Salt Lake City Co-Managing Shareholder Annette W. Jarvis Elected Chair of Utah Symphony | Utah Opera Board of Trustees

SALT LAKE CITY - Dec. 17, 2025 - Annette W. Jarvis, co-managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig, LLP's Salt Lake City office, was unanimously elected to serve a three-year term as chair of the Utah Symphony | Utah Opera's board of trustees beginning this September.

Utah Symphony | Utah Opera is a premier nonprofit arts organization dedicated to artistic excellence, community engagement, and educational outreach across Utah and the Intermountain West, according to the group's website. The organization is governed by a board of trustees that provides strategic, fiduciary, and operational oversight in support of its mission and long-term sustainability.

Jarvis has served on the Utah Symphony | Utah Opera board of trustees since 2010, including roles as secretary from 2010 to 2024 and vice chair from 2022 to 2025. She has held leadership positions on the Executive, Finance, Governance, and Music Director Search Committees and previously chaired the Governance Committee and Boards on Fire Task Force.

At Greenberg Traurig, Jarvis is a member of the Restructuring & Special Situations Practice. She works on business bankruptcy and restructuring matters, representing financial institutions, debtors, trustees, creditors' committees, and purchasers of assets in complex Chapter 11 and cross-border insolvency matters nationwide. She is a fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy and serves on the college's board of regents. Her leadership experience includes service with the Turnaround Management Association and the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation, as well as recognition from legal guides such as Chambers, Martindale-Hubbell, Best Lawyers, and Super Lawyers.
