FedEx to Host Joint Webinar on E-commerce Strategy to Navigate Impact from the U.S. Trade Policy Changes

Seoul, South Korea, September 19, 2025 - Federal Express Corporation, one of the world's largest express transportation companies, is collaborating with Amazon Global Selling and Payoneer to host a special webinar targeting Korea-based e-commerce sellers. The session is designed to provide practical strategies and solutions as local e-commerce businesses navigate challenges arising from recent changes in the U.S. trade policies, including the removal of the U.S. de minimis exemption.

The webinar is scheduled for 23 September 2025, at 2:00 p.m. (KST) and will address the impact of the newly imposed 15% reciprocal tariffs and the removal of the U.S. de minimis exemption, with a goal to help business owners and decision-makers adapt to and manage the effects of these policy changes and navigate the rapidly evolving trade environment effectively. Free of charge and open to all, the session will be conducted online, with registration available through the official FedEx Korea Naver blog.

The webinar will be led by representatives from FedEx, Amazon Global Selling, and Payoneer, each covering their respective areas of expertise. The FedEx session will examine the impact of recent U.S. customs and regulatory changes on Korean e-commerce businesses and introduce best practices for compliance and proper documentation for customs clearance. Amazon Global Selling will cover the onboarding process and market-entry strategies for e-commerce sellers, while Payoneer will share cross-border payment solutions and strategies to boost conversion.

As part of FedEx's ongoing efforts to support local businesses, the company has introduced enhanced shipping discounts of up to 80% for Payoneer customers when using FedEx International Priority® and FedEx International Economy®, enabling them access to FedEx's global network for fast, reliable, and competitive international logistics solutions.

Through webinars like this, FedEx has provided timely support with actionable insights and strategies to help Korean businesses grow and optimize their supply chains. In addition, FedEx strengthened its intra-Asia network in July by launching a direct route connecting Korea and Taiwan, enhancing service capacity and reliability between the two markets for Korean exporters.
