The IAM Women's & Young Workers Department is now accepting registrations for the Women's Leadership Program, scheduled for March 1 - 6, 2026 and the Advanced Women's Leadership Program, scheduled for March 15 - 20, 2026, both at the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center in Hollywood, Md.
The Women's Leadership Program is designed to motivate union sisters to become active members within their locals and districts. The Women's Leadership Program is designed to build leadership skills and develop skills in the areas of organizing, parliamentary procedure, political and legislative involvement, strategic planning, and network building.
The Advanced Women's Leadership Program is designed for members who have completed the Women's Leadership Program and are ready to take the next step in their leadership journey. Participants will build on prior learning while further developing critical skills in leadership development, organizing, parliamentary procedure, political and legislative involvement, strategic planning, and network building.
Women's Leadership Programs equip IAM sisters with the tools and confidence needed to lead effectively at every level of the union and to strengthen solidarity across our membership.
The official call letter includes the IAM policy letter outlining tuition, transportation, and curriculum details. Registration must be completed using the Departmental Program Registration Form.
