DENVER - Sept. 15, 2025 - Denver International Airport (DEN) recently announced six dining- and retail-related Requests for Proposal (RFP) opportunities to help transform the Great Hall into a modern, iconic space for DEN's visitors, employees and millions of annual passengers.
"As we eagerly anticipate the completion of the Great Hall, DEN is committed to elevating the customer experience by offering high-quality shopping and dining experiences," DEN CEO Phil Washington said. "Our Concessions Program is actively seeking top-tier retail and dining options that will enhance the vibrant atmosphere of the bustling Jeppesen Terminal. We aim to create a stunning focal point that reflects the culture of Denver through this reimagined space."
These opportunities will be primarily located in the Great Hall on Level 5 that is being constructed as part of DEN's Great Hall Program, which is finalizing the full build-out of the Jeppesen Terminal. The opportunity is intended for a national, regional, or local brand capable of serving a high volume of passengers and employees.
The six opportunities include:
Travel Convenience Marketplace: The opportunity is intended for the development of a travel convenience marketplace. The marketplace will meet the needs of passengers, employees, and visitors within the area by offering a wide range of everyday essentials, gifts, and travel-related items. The travel convenience marketplace is also a 100% Small Business Enterprise Concession (SBEC) opportunity.
Grab and Go Café - The grab and go café should focus on providing high quality, freshly prepared food and beverage items for takeaway. The café is also a 100% Small Business Enterprise Concession (SBEC) opportunity.
Fast Casual Restaurant - The fast casual restaurant should feature a bakery-focused menu, offering fresh and high-quality items throughout the day. The fast casual restaurant will offer menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in alignment with the brand concept and reflect a balance of speed, quality, and value.
Casual Dining with Bar - The casual dining restaurant should provide a welcoming, sit-down dining experience with full table service and a strong emphasis on food quality, atmosphere, and guest comfort. A takeout service may be offered, but the concept should prioritize the in-restaurant experience. The casual dining restaurant will offer full-service menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in alignment with the brand concept.
Food Hall - The opportunity is intended for the development of a single food hall space comprising of three quick service restaurants (QSR) concepts. The selected operator will be managing the space as a unified environment, delivering seamless and high-quality passenger and employee experience. The food hall must provide a diverse selection of global cuisines, with at least two of the following three cuisine types represented: American, Asian or Mexican. Each concept should offer a distinct menu and identity, while working cohesively under the larger food hall location.
ATM & Banking Services - Qualified individuals or entities are sought to install, operate and maintain ADA compliant Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) as well as design, build out and operate a banking services branch within the Great Hall at Denver International Airport. ATMs will be installed in compliance with all applicable regulations and standards at identified locations. ATMs will utilize Wi-Fi connections and will not require a wired data connection. ATMs will provide a range of services including cash withdrawals, balance inquiries and fund transfers. The ATM units will be located throughout the airport, including all three concourses and in the Terminal with approximately 17 units.
Four RFP opportunities are open until Nov. 17, 2025, and the two Small Business Enterprise Concession (SBEC) opportunities are open until Dec. 18, 2025. Those interested in learning more about these opportunities can find information here or can reach out to [email protected].
