ODOT seeking public comments on upcoming projects

SIDNEY (Wednesday, June 24, 2026) - The Ohio Department of Transportation District 7 is seeking public comments regarding the following projects:

Montgomery County - I-75 Resurfacing, PID 123158 - ODOT proposes to resurface Interstate 75 from (approximately) Nordic Road (SLM 17.38) to the north Montgomery County Line (SLM 24.36). The project is necessary maintenance. Construction is currently scheduled to begin in Summer 2027 and require approximately four months to complete.

Montgomery County - SR 48 Resurfacing, PID 123160 - ODOT proposes to resurface State Route 48/Main Street in Montgomery County, from approximately the southern Montgomery County line (SLM 0.00) to approximately Sheehan Road (SLM 1.70) and from Turner Road/Shoup Mill Road (SLM 17.05) to approximately Westbrook Road/Dog Led Road (SLM 19.03). To accommodate the work, limited restrictions to Greater Dayton RTA bus stops may be required; advance notice will be posted at affected stops. The project is necessary maintenance. Construction is scheduled to begin Spring 2027 and require approximately three months to complete.

Montgomery County - SR 741 Resurfacing, PID 111540 - ODOT proposes to resurface State Route 741/Springboro Pike in Montgomery County, from just north of Alex Bell Road (SLM 6.18) to just north of Northlawn Avenue (SLM 8.38). To ensure the safety of the public, the project will require a road closure of SR 741 at the bridge over Holes Creek for up to one week; signed detours will be provided for through traffic. Restrictions to Greater Dayton RTA bus stops may be required to accommodate the work and the roadway closure; advance notice will be posted at affected stops. The project is necessary maintenance. Construction is scheduled to begin Spring 2027 and require approximately three months to complete.

Comments may be submitted by contacting the individual below. Issues the public may wish to comment on include, but are not limited to, the effect of the project on local residents, air quality, the local economy, and historic or cultural resources.
