Winter-Spring Make-It, Take-It Mondays and Wonder Lab Wednesdays

The Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department has released its schedule for the popular Make-It, Take-It Monday Crafts and Wonder Lab Wednesday monthly themed programs. Held at the Programming Room in the Veterans Memorial Building in City Park, families with kids ages 5-12 are invited to sign up for a variety of activities that cater to all hobby types, including arts and crafts and science experiments. The cost of the program is only $6 per session for City of Bowling Green resident youth and $10 per session for non-resident youth.

All registrations must be submitted at least one week before the event for proper planning. Participation is limited to the first 15 youth. Each child must be registered separately, and one adult can accompany multiple children without additional registrations. This event is for families only; unaccompanied children or adults cannot attend.

• March 9 | 6:30-7:30 p.m. St. Patrick's Day Crafts
• April 13 | 6:30-7:30 p.m. Mother's Day Crafts
• May 11 | 6:30-7:30 p.m. Spring Crafts

Wonder Lab Wednesday

Science and engineering-style recreational activities and challenges will take place on one Wednesday each month.

• March 25 | 6:30-7:30 p.m. Spring Egg Drop Challenge
