Street Closure - 271st Street (Lincoln County Highway 106)

Beginning on Monday, August 31, 2026, 271st Street (Lincoln County Highway 106) will be closed between Cliff Avenue and Southeastern Avenue to allow crews to install a steel casing pipe under the railroad tracks and under Cliff Avenue. Traffic will be detoured utilizing Cliff Avenue, 57th Street, and SD Highway 11. Traffic on Cliff Avenue will not be impacted.
Weather permitting, this work is expected to be completed by the end of October.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
