Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus M.Ryzhenkov meets Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of China

On December 17, 2025 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Maxim Ryzhenkov, met with Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, Liu Bin, who arrived in Minsk to hold consultations between the foreign ministries of the Republic of Belarus and the People's Republic of China.

The parties noted the upward trajectory of the relations of the all-weather and comprehensive strategic partnership between Belarus and China in the new era.

During the meeting, a range of issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation were discussed, including upcoming political visits at various levels, as well as key aspects of the economic agenda. Special emphasis was placed on further deepening trade, economic and investment cooperation, the implementation of joint projects, as well as expanding the participation of Chinese investors in the socio-economic development of the Republic of Belarus.

The Belarusian side confirmed that it is faithful to the spirit of the "One China" policy, supports all efforts of the Chinese government to protect national sovereignty and territorial integrity, stressing that the Taiwan issue is an internal matter of China and any statements undermine the foundations of the established international world order and regional stability.
