(b) Lakshmi Mittal, a member of the Board of Directors (the "Board") of The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (the "Company"), was deemed under the Board's Corporate Governance Guidelines to have tendered his proposed retirement from the Board at the Company's 2026 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, in accordance with the age-based retirement policy set forth therein. The retirement of Mr. Mittal, effective as of the Company's 2026 Annual Meeting, was accepted by the Board on March 9, 2026.
