Glen Ridge Borough recently closed on a $1.2 million loan through the New Jersey Water Bank to replace aging water main infrastructure near Carteret Street and Forrest Avenue. To strategically prioritize water main replacement, the Borough conducted hydraulic modeling to evaluate system operating conditions and identify areas requiring improvement. The project will enhance drinking water reliability and quality, strengthen system resiliency, improve fire flow capacity for public safety, and reduce the risk of service disruptions for residents and businesses in the area.
