Novian reports strong first-half performance: revenue up 49%, EBITDA rises 71%

The Novian IT solutions and services group generated consolidated revenue of EUR 18.69 million in the first half of 2026, an increase of 49% compared with the same period last year. Adjusted EBITDA rose by 71% to EUR 1.98 million, while adjusted net profit increased more than fivefold, from EUR 202,000 to EUR 1.04 million. The adjusted profit figures exclude the impact of material one-off events unrelated to the Group's ordinary activities.

The Group also expanded its international operations. Export revenue grew by 37% to EUR 4.06 million, with Novian companies active in 49 countries during the first six months of the year.

"We are naturally pleased with these results, but we do not see them as the outcome of a single successful six-month period. They reflect decisions made over several years, the experience we have built and the considerable efforts of our team. There was no single project or favourable market trend that transformed our performance overnight - we achieved growth across several areas of the business and in a range of markets. This confirms that our strategic direction is delivering results and gives us a strong basis for continued investment in expertise and technology," said Tomas Vitkus, CEO of the Novian Group.

"At the same time, we remain measured in our outlook for the second half of the year. Competition is intensifying, geopolitical uncertainty persists and purchasing decisions are taking longer. A strong first half is therefore not a reason to ease off - it gives us a solid foundation on which to keep building," Vitkus added.

In software development, Novian Pro completed two very different projects during the first half of the year, both involving stringent reliability requirements. The company developed HIPSTER, an AI-powered platform for monitoring and analysing hybrid threats that helps identify narratives, topics, actors and other risk indicators. It also completed an air traffic controller rostering system for Brazil's Department of Airspace Control, DECEA.

"HIPSTER and the system developed for Brazil's DECEA address entirely different challenges. What matters most to us, however, is what these projects demonstrate about our capabilities: we can deliver specialised systems that require not only strong software development expertise, but also an in-depth understanding of the domain in which they will operate. This is where we see our growth opportunity - competing internationally not simply on development capacity, but on our ability to solve complex operational challenges and take responsibility for the outcome," said Tadas Jonušas, CEO of Novian Pro.

In the IT solutions business, the focus was on infrastructure supporting the adoption of artificial intelligence and the modernisation of critical systems. Novian Technologies expanded Neurotechnology's AI computing infrastructure using the new-generation NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra B300 platform. The company also began upgrading the technology platform underpinning Lithuania's national e-health system, ESPBI IS, with the aim of improving its performance, availability and security.

As a result, infrastructure that appears advanced today may become a constraint within just a few years if scalability and long-term management are not considered from the outset. The AI infrastructure projects delivered during the first half of the year, together with our strengthened partnership with NVIDIA, enable us to act with even greater ambition in this field. Our goal is to apply the artificial intelligence and high-performance computing expertise we have built in Lithuania to an increasing number of international projects, covering the entire lifecycle - from architecture design and deployment to the long-term management and maintenance of infrastructure," said Gytis Umantas, CEO of Novian Technologies.

This strategic focus was further reinforced by the NVIDIA Elite Partner status obtained by Novian Technologies in the Compute and NVIDIA Enterprise Software categories during the first half of 2026. The company also retained its Dell Technologies Titanium and Red Hat Premier partner statuses and continued to strengthen its relationships with the world's leading IT infrastructure technology providers.

The Group also deepened its engagement with the scientific community. The Lithuanian Academy of Sciences recognised Novian as one of the Academy's first patrons, while named scholarships were awarded to early-career researchers for work in quantum technologies, defence and space, high-performance computing, cybersecurity and information technology.
