Kansas City area maintenance work for Sept. 22-26…

LEE'S SUMMIT, MO - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from Sept. 22-26. All work is weather permitting.

JACKSON COUNT Y

Interstate 35 northbound at Independence Ave.: right lane closed on Monday, Sept. 22, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., for drainage work.

Interstate 70 eastbound at Manchester Ave.: left lance closed on Monday., Sept. 22, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., for barrier wall repair.

Missouri Highway 350 eastbound between Noland Rd. and Colbern Rd.: left lane closed on Monday, Sept. 22, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., for brush cutting.

Route F between U.S. Highway 50 and Cobern Rd.: flagging operations from Tuesday, Sept. 23, until Wednesday, Sept. 24, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.

U.S. Highway 71 before 75th St.: right lane closed on Tuesday, Sept. 23, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., for pavement repair.

Holmes Rd. on-ramp to Interstate 435 westbound: ramp closed on Wednesday, Sept. 24, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., for pavement repair.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY

Route UU between Missouri Highway 23 and end of state maintenance: flagging operation with pilot cars on Monday., Sept. 22, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., for seal coating.

Route N between U.S. Highway 24 and end of state maintenance: flagging operation with pilot cars on Tuesday, Sept. 23, and Wednesday, Sept. 24, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., for seal coating.

Route F between Missouri Highway 20 and Cottonwood Rd.: flagging operation on Thursday, Sept. 25, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.

Route FF at various locations between Missouri Highway 131 and Missouri Highway 13: flagging operations with pilot cars from Monday, Sept. 22, until Friday, Sept. 26, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.

RAY COUNTY

Route F at Curtis Rd.: flagging operation on Thursday, Sept. 25, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for drainage work.

SALINE COUNTY

Route F between Route O and Route M: flagging operation on Monday, Sept. 22, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for seal coating.

Route O: flagging operations, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for seal coating.

  • Wednesday, Sept. 23: between Route F and Route C
  • Thursday, Sept. 24 and Friday, Sept. 25: between Route C and Missouri Highway 240

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
