DGA Statement on Mike Minogue's Entrance into the Massachusetts Gubernatorial Race
Today, Democratic Governors Association spokesperson Kevin Donohoe released the below statement on Mike Minogue's entrance into the Massachusetts gubernatorial race. Minogue and his family have donated $838,000 to support Donald Trump's campaign and the Republican National Committee over the past year and even hosted a fundraiser for JD Vance in Gloucester. He also attended Donald Trump's inauguration.
"Mike Minogue is a MAGA mega donor who has praised Elon Musk and given hundreds of thousands of dollars to put Donald Trump in the White House. As Governor, Minogue would bring Donald Trump's toxic agenda to Beacon Hill: raising costs, taking away health care, shutting down cancer research, and undermining fundamental freedoms.
"No matter who gets out of this crowded and chaotic Republican primary, we're confident that Governor Maura Healey, with her record of fighting for Massachusetts, will win next November."
