Pseudo Fentanyl Alternative K9 Training Aid

Fentanyl is a potent synthetic opioid that poses significant threats to safety, public health, and national security. K9 teams are trained to detect illicit fentanyl but require frequent training exercises to maintain their skills. Training with real fentanyl materials can be expensive and dangerous and requires Drug Enforcement Administration licensing. Although regular training on real narcotics is necessary, alternative training aids that mimic the odor of real materials offer opportunities for more frequent K9 performance checks.
