HUMANITARIAN AID FOR FLOOD VICTIMS IN PAKISTAN

HUMANITARIAN AID FOR FLOOD VICTIMS IN PAKISTAN

The Government of Malaysia has contributed USD100,000 through the Disaster Fund of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (TBKLN - Tabung Bencana Kementerian Luar Negeri) to assist the flood victims in Pakistan. The donation was presented by YB Dato' Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Haji Hasan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia to the High Commissioner of Pakistan to Malaysia, H.E. Syed Ahsan Raza Shah on 18 September 2025 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Malaysia reaffirms its solidarity with the Government and people of Pakistan in the wake of severe floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Sindh, and Gilgit-Baltistan, which have resulted in the loss of lives, widespread displacement, and significant damage to infrastructure and livelihoods.

The people of Malaysia extend our deepest sympathies to the people of Pakistan during this difficult period. Malaysia hopes that this contribution will help ease the hardships endured by the victims and contribute meaningfully to the ongoing relief and recovery efforts.

TBKLN was established in 2006 as a dedicated platform to extend humanitarian assistance to disaster-stricken communities worldwide. In the spirit of solidarity, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomes contributions from all Malaysians, corporations, businesses and non-governmental organisations to TBKLN. Further details on TBKLN can be found at the official portal at https://tabungbencana.kln.gov.my.
