DOH AUTHORIZES REOPENING OF OLAY'S THAI FOOD EXPRESS IN ʻAIEA

ʻAIEA, Hawaiʻi - The Hawai'i Department of Health (DOH) Food Safety Branch authorized the reopening of Olay's Thai Food Express, issuing a green "pass" placard during a follow-up inspection on Sept. 12, 2025.

The food establishment, located at 99-927 Iwaena St. in ʻAiea is operated by Dao Heung, LLC.

The DOH required the food establishment to complete the following corrective action:

  • Refrigeration units must be able to hold proper cold holding temperatures of 41 F or below.

During the follow-up inspection, the DOH determined that the corrective action as well as corrections to other observed critical and non-critical violations have been completed.

The DOH Food Safety Branch protects and promotes the health of Hawai'i residents and visitors through education of food industry workers and regulation of food establishments statewide. The branch conducts routine health inspections of food establishments where food products are prepared, manufactured, distributed, or sold.
