Congresswoman Pou Marks Second Anniversary Since October 7 Terrorist Attacks

PATERSON, NJ - Congresswoman Nellie Pou (D-NJ-09) today marked the second anniversary of the October 7, 2023 attacks against Israel by Hamas, which resulted in the deaths of over one thousand people.

"Today marks two years since a devastating and dark day in Israel's history," said Congresswoman Pou. "The pain and trauma from the October 7th attacks are still being felt by many, and the families of the hostages continue to endure an agonizing wait. It is imperative that Hamas release the remaining hostages without further delay. Equally important, the violence in Gaza must end. The path to lasting peace requires decisive action and commitment from all sides. A two-state solution is the only viable path forward to ensure lasting security, stability, and peace in the region."
