Nashville, Tenn. - Montecito Medical, one of the nation's most active investors in medical outpatient real estate, has acquired a 61,000-SF building in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
The property is fully occupied, with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Neurology-Triad, Carolinas Pain Institute, and Piedmont Triad Anesthesia as the largest tenants.
"With this acquisition, we continue to execute on our strategy of building long-term, mutually advantageous partnerships with health systems and prominent physician practice groups," said Rus Gudnyy, Senior Vice President of Investments at Montecito Medical. "We are pleased to add this important asset to our medical outpatient real estate portfolio."
Carolinas Pain Institute is a leading, physician-led interventional pain management platform serving North Carolina and adjoining states. In addition to its Winston-Salem location, the group maintains an office in Charlotte.
Atrium Health is one of the largest nonprofit healthcare systems in the United States, operating a fully integrated care delivery platform across North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama. Atrium provides care at more than 1,400 locations and 40 hospitals.
Piedmont Triad Anesthesia is a physician-owned anesthesia services group providing coverage across hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and outpatient procedural settings throughout the Piedmont Triad region. The group maintains seven locations in North Carolina.
