TUESDAY, May 12
8:30 a.m. - Executive Session
Pursuant to Colorado Revised Statute § 24-6-402 (4), upon the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the quorum present, the La Plata County Board of County Commissioners will hold an executive session to discuss the following matters:

1. For purposes of the Board receiving legal advice on specific legal questions pursuant to Colo. Rev. Stat. § 24-6-402(4)(b). Purpose: Obligations under the Tax Compact between the State of Colorado, Southern Ute Indian Tribe and La Plata County and development of Mancos Shale.
2. Determining positions relative to matters that may be subject to negotiations; developing strategy for negotiations; and instructing negotiators pursuant to Colo. Rev. Stat. § 24-6-402(4)(e).
   Purpose: Obligations under the Tax Compact between the State
   of Colorado, Southern Ute Indian Tribe and La Plata County and development of Mancos Shale.

10:00 a.m. - Business Agenda Meeting
The Board will consider:

1. Consideration of a new hotel and restaurant license for Sky Dine Colorado, LLC.
2. Approval of County Cash Requirements April 24, 2026 through May 1, 2026.
3. Approval of the Transfer of Colorado Child Care Assistance Program Funds for state fiscal year 2025-2026.
4. Approval of a letter of support for HomesFund's application for the Housing Affordability Breakthrough Challenge grant program.
5. Approval of Resolution 2026-17 Waiving Certain Procurement Procedures for La Plata County Public Health.
6. Approval of an Intergovernmental Agreement with Upper Pine River Fire Protection District.
7. Approval of an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment for 340B Drug Pricing Program.
8. Approval of an Intergovernmental Agreement between La Plata County and Dolores County Regarding Human Services.
9. Approval of Local Public Health Agency (LPHA) Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Mini-Grant for the Shared Governance Council.
10. Approval of the renewal of a retail liquor store license for All American Meat, Inc dba Animas Wine and Spirits.
11. Approval of the renewal of a fermented malt beverage and wine license for James Ranch Agriprises, LLLP dba James Ranch Market.
12. Approval of the renewal of a hotel and restaurant with optional premise liquor license for IVEE Group, LLC.
13. Approval of the renewal of a fermented malt beverage and wine license for IVEE Group, LLC.
14. Approval of the renewal of the ambulance service authorization to operate for Los Pinos Fire Protection District.
15. Approval of the renewal of a beer and wine license for Harvest Grill and Greens at James Ranch, LLC dba James Ranch Grill.
16. Approval of an amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding regarding Axis Health System's operation of the Regional Crisis Center Durango Acute Treatment Unit (ATU).
17. Consideration of La Plata County Housing Needs Assessment.
18. Consideration of Resolution 2026-16 modifying various fees including electric vehicle charging station, notary, temporary use permit and development improvement agreement amendment.

11:30 a.m. - Boys & Girls Club of La Plata County Luncheon
Members of the Board will attend a fundraising luncheon at the Boys & Girls Club of La Plata County. The luncheon will be held at 2750 Main Avenue in Durango.

THURSDAY, May 14
4:00 p.m. - Commissioner Chat with Commissioner Matt Salka
Commissioner Matt Salka will host Commissioner Chat in Ignacio from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Residents are encouraged to stop by for an informal discussion about county issues or concerns. Commissioner Chat will be held at the Ignacio Community Library, located at 470 Goddard Ave.

FRIDAY, May 15
9:00 a.m. - Durango/La Plata County Airport Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
The Board will attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Airport Terminal Expansion Phase 1B2 at the Durango/La Plata County Airport, located at 1000 Airport Road in Durango.
