NLSIU Admission 2027: The National Law School of India University, Bengaluru, has released the notification for its admission to the 2027-28 session. NLSIU will hold the National Law School Admission Test (NLSAT) 2027 on Sunday, April 25, 2027, at offline test centres across the country. Online registration and application will start in November 2026 for the flagship 3-Year LL.B. (Honours), 3-Year B.A. (Honours), Master's Programme in Public Policy (MPP), and Ph.D. courses on the official website - nls.ac.in , for aspirants wishing to apply for admission ahead of the national-level entrance test scheduled in April.

NLSIU Bengaluru conducts NLSAT for non-CLAT admissions to a few special undergrad, postgrad, and research courses:

• 3-Year LL.B. (Honours): This is a professional law degree at the postgraduate level and is open to graduates of any discipline who have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD).
• 3-Year B.A. (Honours): A three-year undergraduate interdisciplinary course in humanities and social sciences with an option for a 4 th research year.
• Master's Programme in Public Policy (MPP): Two-year full-time interdisciplinary programme covering policy formulation, social sciences, governance and law.
• Ph.D. Programmes: An exceptional doctoral research grade can be pursued in Law, Social Sciences, Humanities, and Public Policy.

How to Apply for NLSAT 2027

Access the official NLSIU admission portal at nls.ac.in.

1. Tap the link on the "NLSAT 2027 Online Application" tab after it appears in Nov 2026.
2. Create your profile with your active email ID and phone number to receive your login credentials.
3. Enter Personal Information, Education Details, and Test Center Choice.
4. Upload all required scanned documents such as passport-size photo, signature, and category/domicile certificates.
5. Pay the application fee (Rs. 2,500 for General and Rs. 2,000 for Reserved) online via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI, and take a printout of the confirmation page.
