Cape Haze Pioneer Trail Parking Lot Construction

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Nov. 4, 2026) - Construction activities are expected to begin Nov. 16 at the Cape Haze Pioneer Trail Harness Road parking lot and trail access. Visitors are asked to use caution when traveling through the construction area.

Bicyclists should reduce speed, remain alert and watch for construction equipment, workers and changing trail conditions. Be aware of uneven surfaces, debris and potential hazards. Follow all posted signs and directions and yield to construction workers and equipment when necessary.
