Allegheny County - December 17, 2025 - Today, State Senator Wayne Fontana releases the following statement regarding the departure of Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Colonel Christopher Paris:

As the minority chair of the Senate Law and Justice Committee, I have seen firsthand how his professionalism and commitment to excellence have supported our law enforcement officers to serve the people of Pennsylvania. He leaves Pennsylvania a safer, stronger place, and I am deeply grateful for his distinguished service to our Commonwealth.
