Rochester, NY: Robbery of USPS Letter Carrier

The suspect, described as a Black male, was wearing a blue ski mask and black pants, and demanded money and mail. The suspect physically assaulted the carrier before fleeing the scene towards a nearby shopping center. The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) who physically assaulted and robbed a United States Postal Service (USPS) letter carrier. The robbery occurred Friday, September 5, 2025, at approximately 3:20 p.m., while the letter carrier was delivering mail at 66 Ackerman Street, Rochester, NY, 14609.
