Spokane Police Department Seeking Assistance in Locating Missing Endangered Male

SPD is seeking help from community members in locating a missing endangered adult male.

Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 2:05 p.m.

Paxson Matthews is a 33-year-old male. He arrived in Spokane on or about September 12th and was last seen in the area of 700 North Division. Paxson is legally blind and deaf and has difficulty speaking. He has significant mobility issues and has multiple disabilities that require medical attention. Paxson is 5'10" and weighs around 125 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He has a large zig-zag shaped scar from ear to ear. Paxson has a full beard now and tends to wear ball/stocking caps. Paxson also carries a brown fanny pack with him and is likely wearing black dress shoes. He is known to frequent the South Hill as well as the Gonzaga area.
