On 30 October 2026, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Bao Khuong, LL.M. - Dentons LuatViet, was invited to participate in the national scientific conference: "Rethinking Civil Law in the Era of Economic and Technological Transformation", jointly organised by Hanoi Law University, Vietnam Court Academy, and the University of Law, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
In connection with the conference's theme, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Bao Khuong and his colleague provided legal analysis and professional insights on "The Application of Preliminary Injunctions on the Digital Space in Intellectual Property Disputes", focusing on three key areas:
01. Vietnam's Legal Framework: Recent legislative developments concerning preliminary injunctions in intellectual property (IP) disputes and the challenges of addressing online infringements;
02. International Perspectives: An analysis of European legal frameworks and judicial precedents concerning the timely, effective, and proportionate application of measures to protect IP rights;
03. Potential Legal Developments: Exploring the potential application of dynamic preliminary injunctions in Vietnam, including a proposed four-layer framework designed to address the constantly evolving nature of online IP infringements.
Through these analyses, the research contributes valuable perspectives to the ongoing discussion on strengthening IP rights enforcement in Vietnam, while highlighting the importance of striking an appropriate balance between protecting IP rights holders and safeguarding legitimate commercial activities in the digital environment.
Dentons LuatViet sincerely acknowledges and appreciates the professional contributions of Mr. Nguyen Hoang Bao Khuong and his colleagues to legal research, knowledge sharing, and the exchange of legal perspectives at distinguished academic forums in Vietnam.
