Norton Rose Fulbright strengthens M&A practice with appointment of Medha Marathe

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has appointed Medha Marathe as a partner in its corporate, M&A and securities practice in London.

Medha advises international corporates, private equity sponsors and strategic investors on complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, carve-outs and other strategic corporate transactions. She joins from Latham & Watkins and was previously a partner at leading Indian law firm, AZB & Partners.

Dual-qualified in India and England and Wales, Medha brings extensive experience advising on international transactions involving India and a distinctive perspective on the growing flow of capital between India and global markets. She advises clients across a range of sectors, including energy, technology, financial services, healthcare and industrials, and is particularly recognised for her work on sophisticated transactions with an Indian nexus, whether inbound or outbound. Medha was named in India Business Law Journal's International A-List 2026 of leading lawyers for India-related cross-border matters.

Medha's appointment reflects Norton Rose Fulbright's continued investment in its global M&A platform and strengthens the firm's ability to advise clients on increasing levels of inbound and outbound investment involving India, one of the world's fastest-growing major economies.
