MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: Nighttime Lane Closures with Traffic Slowdowns/Stops on U.S. Route 65

Where/When:

  • Southbound U.S. Route 65 reduced to one lane between Christian County Route CC and Missouri Route 14 (Jackson Street) at the Chadwick Flyer Overpass in Ozark
    • 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 18 to 6 a.m. Wednesday, November 19
  • Northbound U.S. Route 65 reduced to one lane between Christian County Route CC and Missouri Route 14 (Jackson Street) at the Chadwick Flyer Overpass in Ozark
    • 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 19 to 6 a.m. Thursday, November 20

What: Contractor crews to set the Chadwick Flyer Overpass bridge. Ozark City Police will slow traffic on Route 65 for up to 15 minutes at a time.

Traffic Impacts:

  • Southbound U.S. Route 65 reduced to one lane between Route CC and Route 14 (Jackson Street) at the Chadwick Flyer Overpass in Ozark at night on November 18
  • Northbound U.S. Route 65 reduced to one lane between Route CC and Route 14 (Jackson Street) at the Chadwick Flyer Overpass at night on November 19
  • U.S. Route 65 traffic slowed or stopped for up to 15 minutes between the northern line of Christian County and the southern line of Christian County.
  • Ozark City Police will slow or stop traffic on Route 65
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
  • Drivers will need to follow the signed detour or seek an alternate route to avoid the work zone
  • Check MoDOT's Traveler Information Map for road closures/traffic impacts

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
