ASPPH is pleased to welcome thirteen new fellows who will engage in practice-based training assignments through the ASPPH/CDC Public Health Fellowship Program. The Program aims to provide professionally relevant, applied mentored learning experiences for early-career professionals with graduate degrees in public health. Fellows will have the opportunity to refine their academic training and gain practical public health experience through exposure to state-of-the-art technology and databases, acquire skills and knowledge to enhance their careers, and interact with technical experts in their chosen fields.
For the next year, the fellows' training will follow two tracks, core public health and health education, in six different CDC Centers/Institutes/Offices (CIOs):
The two separate tracks will allow the fellows to strengthen their capacity in the focus areas that interest them most. Ultimately, upon completion, fellows will have made valuable contributions to projects of national public health importance, aligning with the CDC's mission, while gaining a significant skill set that will lay the foundation for their public health careers.
ASPPH would like to thank our partners at the CDC for their support of this important training program. Learn more about the ASPPH/CDC Public Health Fellowship Program or email [email protected] for additional information.
