GEO 21-02 Training Video Available and Important CORRECTION

On April 16 we held a virtual training about Governor's Executive Order 21-02. We had an overwhelming response and our Zoom room reached capacity. We will increase our capacity for next time so that doesn't happen again. If you were not able to get in the meeting, the video link is posted below for viewing. We are also planning some virtual Q&A sessions for you to bring your questions. More info coming soon.
For those of you that were in attendance, we have two corrections to make regarding specific questions that were asked. We do our best to provide accurate information, but sometimes we make mistakes and want to make sure we correct them. First, we stated that tribal consultation cannot be delegated to grant recipients. This is incorrect. The Order states that consultation can be delegated to grant recipients. Second, we stated that the Order only applies to capital funding. The Order applies to any state funding for the following types of activities: construction, demolition, or property acquisition.
