PSC Sets Intervention Deadline for Missouri-American CCN to Acquire Operate Neosho Water Sewer Systems pr-26-24

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.--- The Missouri Public Service Commission (PSC) has set an intervention deadline of October 8, 2025, for a Certificate of Convenience and Necessity (CCN) application from Missouri-American Water Company to acquire and operate city-owned water and sewer systems in Neosho, Mo.

On September 24, 2025, Missouri-American filed for a CCN to construct, install, own, operate, maintain, and otherwise control the water and sewer systems in and around the city of Neosho, currently owned and operated by the City. The application also seeks to establish the ratemaking rate base associated with Neosho water and sewer systems.

Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Mo. 65102-0360, or by using the Commission's Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS) at psc.mo.gov.
