In Battleground Iowa, DGA Chair Gov. Beshear Joins Rob Sand for General Election Kickoff Rally

Gov. Beshear: "I am living, breathing proof that Democrats can win anywhere, and we should be fighting everywhere."

The Chair of the Democratic Governors Association, Governor Andy Beshear, hit the campaign trail in Iowa with Rob Sand over the weekend, as Sand's race heats up as one of Democrats' best pick-up opportunities.

Gov. Beshear discussed Sand's path to victory in ultra-competitive Iowa against political operative and Kansas carpetbagger Zach Lahn, who enters the general election on the back foot. Rob has already broken fundraising records and is running a strong campaign focused on going everywhere and putting politics aside to deliver the change Iowans want.
