Indianapolis - Anders Larsen and Liv Heite of the University of Alaska Anchorage each quailed for the 2026 NCAA Div. II Indoor Track and Field Championships in Virginia Beach, Virginia March 13-14.
Sophomore Anders Larsen will be competing in his first NCAA Championship in the heptathlon. The Chugiak, Alaska, native finished second in the heptathlon with a score of 5,132 points, the third-best score all-time at UAA.
Junior Liv Heite will be competing in her first NCAA Championship in the 60 hurdles. The native of Olpe, Germany ran a school-record time of 8.53 to finish second in the 60 hurdles at the GNAC Championships.
"I am very happy to have Anders and Liv flying the UAA flag at the national meet," said head coach Ryan McWilliams. "These are two athletes that have worked so hard to get to this place, and I can't wait to see them compete and finish off this season well."
