CFP Board Weighs Keeping College Degree as Certification Requirement
CFP Board has formed a new working group to evaluate whether a bachelor's degree should remain a requirement for CFP® certification as the profession evolves. First announced Jan. 27, the Academic Pathways and Standards Working Group will assess whether the requirement reflects current practices and includes industry leaders and academics representing a range of firms and institutions.
