Major strategic partnership will power sports fandom with FanCash, the currency of sport, exclusive benefits, Fanatics American Express® Card, and new ways for millions of Card Members to connect with their favorite sports moments
American Express to become the official payments partner of Fanatics and Fanatics Fest
New York, NY - American Express (NYSE: AXP) and global sports platform Fanatics today announced a strategic partnership to make sports fandom more rewarding. This multi-faceted partnership establishes American Express as the preferred payments partner across Fanatics' online and retail locations worldwide and unlocks exclusive benefits for American Express Card Members on Fanatics products and events - including Fanatics Fest, the world's #1 sports fan festival, held annually in New York City. Fanatics will also launch the Fanatics American Express® Card later this year, designed to reward fans with FanCash and exclusive Cardmember benefits making it the card for sports fans everywhere.
Nearly 80% of U.S. American Express Consumer Card Members say they are sports fans*, including more than one-third who consider themselves die-hard or loyal supporters, underscoring the powerful role sport plays in their lives. With this devoted audience in mind, the new partnership brings together the combined strength of American Express' global payments Network and deep expertise in Membership, loyalty, and experiences, with the scale and reach of Fanatics' unrivaled sports ecosystem.
American Express' sports portfolio spans more than fifty premier sports leagues, teams, venues, and marquee events around the world. This partnership further cements the company's dedication to bringing Card Members incredible access and experiences to their favorite sports. Together, American Express and Fanatics will collaborate to create best-in-class fan experiences and access at some of the world's most iconic sporting events, including NFL, NBA and WNBA games, Formula 1, U.S. Open golf championships and more.

Partnership Highlights
Official Payments Partner of Fanatics and Fanatics Fest - American Express will become the official payments partner across Fanatics' online and retail locations globally. The company will also be the official payments partner and a presenting sponsor of Fanatics Fest NYC, July 16-19, 2026, and activate at other U.S. and global Fanatics events throughout the year. At Fanatics Fest, American Express will provide fans with special interactive experiences, elevated perks for eligible Card Members, and a savings offer on select purchases. Fanatics Fest welcomed more than 125,000 attendees last year, and the 2026 event will build on that momentum.
FanCash becomes First-Ever Sports Membership Rewards® Transfer Partner - Within the next year, FanCash will become an American Express Membership Rewards® transfer partner, giving eligible Card Members a new way to use Membership Rewards® points across the Fanatics ecosystem - for authentic jerseys and apparel, trading cards and collectibles and exclusive experiences such as Fanatics Fest.

The Fanatics American Express® Card will be managed by Imprint. The Card will be available for sports fans in the U.S. later this year and will allow sports fans to uniquely personalize their Card to their fandom.
