Fifth Committee (Administrative and Budgetary) Discusses UN Financial Situation
(Note: A complete summary of today's Fifth Committee meeting will be made available after its conclusion.)
Delegates examine and discuss the Secretary-General's report (document A/80/440) on the UN's financial situation as of 30 September, which he presented to the Fifth Committee (Administrative and Budgetary) on 9 October.
Catherine Pollard, Under-Secretary-General for Management Strategy, Policy and Compliance, will provide updates since the 9 October meeting. (See Press Release GA/AB/4504.)
Also today, Martha Helena Lopez, Assistant Secretary-General for Human Resources, will introduce the Secretary-General report (document A/80/178) on the conditions and compensation for full-time members of the International Civil Service Commission and the Chair of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions (ACABQ). Delegates will then discuss the report.
