City Offices Closed - Thanksgiving, November 27-28, 2025
The City of Fort Madison announces that all city offices will be closed on Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28, 2025, in observance of Thanksgiving. Offices will reopen for normal business hours on Monday, December 1, 2025.
Please note that Thursday's garbage route will be collected on Wednesday, November 26. Route A's recycling will be collected on Tuesday, November 25. Friday's garbage route will be postponed to Monday, December 1, 2025. All other garbage and recycling routes will continue as scheduled.
