We're experiencing a massive shift in how software is discovered and purchased. As AI becomes the primary engine behind B2B decision-making, G2 is evolving to ensure we remain the world's most trusted data source.
To lead this next chapter, I am thrilled to announce Alexis Zhengas our Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO), just weeks after we named Alexandra Londonas our Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Together, these editions round out our executive leadership team and will take G2 to new heights as we climb to our next peak.
Building the next generation of G2 requires a leader who understands both deep tech and market dynamics. As AI changes how software is discovered, evaluated, and purchased, we need a strong product leader who can navigate both the technology and the dynamics shaping the market.
Alexis has spent over a decade building machine learning-powered products at scale for some of the most iconic tech brands, holding leadership roles at LinkedIn, Uber, Grab, and Cruise. Most recently, she served as the Vice President of AI Product Management at Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
I am confident that her experience building successful AI products at scale will help take G2 further as answer engine optimization(AEO) continues to lead decisions and spur conversation in AI search.
When I spoke with Alexis about joining G2, she shared:
"The most successful platforms in the AI era will be those with the most reliable signals - making trust the true last mile of enterprise AI adoption. G2 has spent years building deep, structured data about how software performs in the real world."
Alexis ZhengAlexis continued, "This foundation gives us a unique opportunity to unlock new capabilities and evolve our current data flywheel into an AI-age trust flywheel - one that powers AI-driven recommendations, agents, and workflows. I am excited to join G2, which is leading the conversation on B2B AI adoption, to help transform how software is bought and sold."
The winners in this new era will be the platforms that AI - and the people using it - can actually trust. By bringing in leaders like Alexis and Alex, G2 is doubling down on our commitment to providing authentic, verified insights at a global scale.
Together, we're not just watching the market change; we're building the infrastructure that will define how software is bought and sold for years to come.
Please join me in welcoming Alexis and Alex to the team! I am confident that their leadership will help take G2 to our next peak as we continue to help professionals make smarter software decisions.
