To foster creativity and continue to enhance public access to the arts in Iowa City, the City's Public Art Advisory Committee (PAAC) announces the 2026 Matching Grant fund program.
The program is available for visual, audio or performance-based art projects that are located in Iowa City and freely accessible by the general public. The grant offers a 50/50 matching grant up to $3,000.
Applications are due Monday, March 2, 2025 by 3 p.m. Grant awards will be announced in April. Awarded projects must be completed by December 31, 2026.

Informational Session
Organizations or individuals interested in applying for the 2026 Public Art Matching Grant Program are invited to attend an informational session on Wednesday, January 28, 2025 at noon. The session will provide an opportunity to learn about the qualifications, requirements, and timeline for applying for the grant, with time for Q&A.
The session will be held via Zoom and attendees are required to register in advance. A recorded version will be made available online for those who are unable to attend in-person.
